A frequency domain approach for local module identification in dynamic networks

چکیده

In classical approaches of dynamic network identification, in order to identify a system (module) embedded network, one has formulate Multi-input-Single-output (MISO) identification problem that requires parametric model for all the modules constituting MISO setup including (possibly) noise model, and determine their order. This requirement leads selection steps are no interest experimenter which increases computational complexity large-sized networks. Also, using (like BJ method) can suffer from local minima, however neglecting its impact on variance estimates. this paper, we provide two-step approach avoid these issues such is independent network. The first step involves performing non-parametric indirect get frequency response function (FRF) estimates as frequency. second step, estimated FRF target module smoothed domain estimator with previous model. developed practical weak assumptions noise, uses available toolbox, only interest, reduce Numerical simulations illustrate potentials introduced method comparison methods.

A Novel Intelligent Fault Diagnosis Approach for Critical Rotating Machinery in the Time-frequency Domain

The rotating machinery is a common class of machinery in the industry. The root cause of faults in the rotating machinery is often faulty rolling element bearings. This paper presents a novel technique using artificial neural network learning for automated diagnosis of localized faults in rolling element bearings. The inputs of this technique are a number of features (harmmean and median), whic...

Local approach for face verification in polar frequency domain

We present a face verification system inspired by known properties of the human visual system. In the proposed algorithm the face is normalized for geometry and luminance, and Fourier–Bessel (FB) descriptors are extracted from three locations in the eyes region (local analysis). The resulting representations are embedded in a dissimilarity space, where each image is represented by its distance ...

Discriminant Analysis for ARMA Models Based on Divergency Criterion: A Frequency Domain Approach

The extension of classical analysis to time series data is the basic problem faced in many fields, such as engineering, economic and medicine. The main objective of discriminant time series analysis is to examine how far it is possible to distinguish between various groups. There are two situations to be considered in the linear time series models. Firstly when the main discriminatory informati...

A frequency-domain approach to crosstalk identification in xDSL systems

Crosstalk between multiple services transmitting through the same telephone cable is the primary limitation to digital subscriber line services. From a spectrum management point of view, it is important to have an accurate map of all the services that generate crosstalk into a given pair. If crosstalk is measured via modem-based methods, i.e., while a digital subscriber line (DSL) system is run...

Identification of the Fractional-Order Systems: A Frequency Domain Approach

The paper deals with a comparison of different optimization methods to identification of fractional order dynamical systems. The fractional models of the examples of physical systems ultracapacitors are established. Then different real frequency responses data from a laboratory setup of the processes are collected and the comparison of identification methods based on least squares and total lea...
